1950s retro camper is just as amazing now as back then!

Life wasn't necessarily better or easier in the '50s, but things were certainly a lot more stylish. No wonder that classic cars, the fashion of swing and the music of this period are still popular even today. And sometimes you're lucky to stumble upon some gems from this time period that still look exactly the way they did back in the fifties.

In 1953, an American couple bought this acid yellow camper and even moved into it, but just for a short time. Then it spent the next couple of decades completely uncared for and unused in a warehouse.

It was only after the turn of the century that someone turned up who was willing to take home the retro-style camper. At least from the outside, the camper still seemed to be in mint condition but the interior could have been a dreadful sight to behold. How would it look after all these decades? Would it be dusty? Would there be insects crawling over inside? What about mold?

No, none of that was inside! The vehicle was still in absolutely perfect condition. But what was most notable was that the camper still had all the original furnishing. Even the old curtains looked phenomenal, even if they did need a wash to remove the musty smell acquired over the years.

Even the electrical circuits were still perfectly intact. The walls had a very rustic touch with their birch paneling, but even they endured the past decades unscathed.

To this day, the home on wheels remains perfectly equipped. Of course, there's a kitchen with a gas stove inside as well.

In a large refrigerator, you can store all the beer you want. Can't imagine what something like that would cost nowadays at an antique shop!

When you're on the road, you're going to need a bathroom. You're in luck because this kind of camper was designed to enable the owner to live life permanently on the go. This way you were able to enjoy good weather and do your work comfortably.

But the most luxurious part of the camper is probably the bathtub. Yes, you read that right: a bathtub in a camper.

So once you've taken a bath, then you can head off to bed. These two beds are super cozy.

All that the camper needed was a fresh coat of paint, new tires and a thorough cleaning. Today it shines like a diamond just as it did 60 years ago.

The buyer really hit the jackpot. Traveling in such a stylish time capsule must feel fantastic. And on top of that, you can save money on a hotel this way.
