Not only do these flower pots look gorgeous and original, they're completely weatherproof, so you can keep them in the garden or on the balcony all year round! From upcycling old bowls and flower pots to creating an artistic hanging planter, these ideas will breathe new life into your home and garden.

1. Giant Upcycled Flower Pot

You'll Need:

  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 small flower pot
  • 1 large flower pot
  • water
  • tile adhesive
  • paint brush
  • acrylic paint
  • stencil
  • putty knife

Here's How:

1.1 Mix the tile adhesive with water, then flip the small flower pot over and use a paint brush to spread the tile adhesive on its base.

1.2 Place the small bowl on top of the upside down flower pot, then brush the tile adhesive over the entire surface of both the flower pot and the bowl, melding them together.

1.3 Place the large planter on top of the small bowl, then cover it with tile adhesive and let the whole thing dry.

1.4 Stir some blue acrylic paint into the remainder of the tile adhesive. Press a stencil onto the dried tile adhesive on your new flower pot, then use a putty knife to apply the blue tile adhesive over the stencil to create a cute design. Remove the stencil, let the flower pot dry, then plant your plants inside!

2. Face Flower Pot

You'll Need:

  • cement
  • water
  • styrofoam head
  • craft knife
  • disposable gloves
  • craft glue
  • moss
  • paintbrush

Here's How:

2.1 Mix the cement powder with water, then cut off the top of the styrofoam head using a craft knife. Put on a pair of disposable gloves and spread the cement over the surface of the styrofoam head using your hands.

2.2 Sculpt facial features, like eyes, a nose, and a mouth in the cement using your hands and the craft knife. Be sure to hollow out the top of the head slightly to make space for your plants. Once the face looks like you want it to, let the cement dry.

2.3  Glue moss onto the dried cement using craft glue, then plant your plants right inside of your new chic planter!

3. Hanging Diamond Planter

You'll Need:

  • cardboard
  • permanent marker
  • scissors
  • tape
  • cement
  • water
  • large glass
  • small plastic flower pot
  • eye bolt screws
  • 3 chains of equal length
  • white acrylic paint

Here's How:

3.1 Draw the shape shown in the image below on a piece of cardboard and cut it out.

3.2 Fold the cardboard shape along the lines and tape it together so that it looks like a 3D diamond.

3.3 Mix the cement powder with water and stir until combined. Place the cardboard diamond in a large glass and fill it about ⅓ of the way with cement.

3.4 Place the small plastic flower pot inside the cardboard diamond, then fill up the rest of the mold with cement so that the plastic flower pot is completely surrounded by it.

3.5 Screw the eye bolt screws into the cement while it's still wet, then let everything dry.

3.6 Remove the cardboard and attach the chains to the eye bolt screws. Paint your new planter white with acrylic paint, then fill the flower pot with potting soil and plant your succulent, flower, or other plant directly inside. Hang up your chic new hanging diamond planter outside on the porch or inside your home.

The best thing about these great cement plant decoration ideas is how simple and unique they are. Get creative and transform your garden or balcony into a beautifully designed plant paradise!
