3 Adorable DIY Christmas Decorations

You can make these yourself and have a cozy DIY time, or you can convince the entire family to join in on the holiday fun and make a day of it. If you want to build a snowman without any snow, look no further! Or are you in the market for some cute tiny Christmas tree lights? What about your own personal penguin? Then you've come to the right place!
1. Tin Can Snowman
You'll Need:
- 4 large, empty cans
- white & black spray paint
- hot glue gun
- 1 black plate
- paintbrush
- paint
- ribbon
- short scarf
- decorative mistletoe
Here's How:
1.1 Spray paint 3 large cans white and 1 large can black. Let the paint dry.
1.2 Hot glue the 3 white cans together to form a tower before gluing the black plate and then the black can on top.
1.3 Draw buttons, eyes, mouth, and nose on the snowman. Decorate the hat with some decorative ribbon and decorative mistletoe and wrap a scarf around his neck. Do you want to build a snowman?!
2. Clay Pot Penguin
You'll Need:
- 2 equally-sized clay pots
- black, white & yellow acrylic paint
- paintbrush
- hot glue gun
- small Christmas hat
Here's How:
2.1 Paint one of the clay pots with acrylic paint so that it looks like the lower part of a penguin's body.
2.2 Glue both clay pots together and paint the upper pot so that it looks like the upper part of a penguin's body.
2.3 Draw a face on the penguin and put a Christmas hat on his head.
3. Tiny Christmas Trees
You'll Need:
- construction paper
- tape
- plastic wrap
- water
- glue
- green yarn
- small decorative stars
- LED tealights
Here's How:
3.1 Fold the construction paper in half and cut the corner into a round shape, as shown in the video.
3.2 Fold the construction paper again, roll it up towards the middle until it takes on the shape of a cone, and tape it in place.
3.3 Wrap the cone in plastic wrap.
3.4 Mix craft glue with a little bit of water and use the mixture to moisten the yarn. Wrap the wet yarn around the cone.
3.5 Put small decorative stars on the yarn while the glue is still wet. Once the yarn wet yarn has dried, carefully remove the paper cone and place the small Christmas tree on an LED tealight.
