1. Hot Air Balloon Bank

You'll Need:

  • paper lantern
  • flag pennant

  • decorations for the basket (e.g. lace and small felt bags)
  • 4 straws

Here's How:

1.1 Use a hot glue gun to glue the small, colorful flag pennant onto the paper lantern in a spiral pattern.

1.2 Fill a small jar with cash (coins and bills both work great!) and screw the lid on. Use a hot glue gun to glue toy people to the top of the lid.

1.3 Decorate a small wicker basket like the basket of a hot air balloon – we used lace and small felt bags. Once the basket is decorated, place the jar filled with money inside.

1.4 Use a hot glue gun to glue 4 evenly-spaced straws to the inside of the wicker basket.

1.5 Balance the paper lantern on top of the straws and secure it with hot glue.
