These 4 easy DIY Christmas decorations are great ways to make your house stand out this holiday season. They'll make this year even more memorable than the last!

1. XXL Christmas Ornament

You'll Need:

  • 1 tire
  • hot glue gun
  • 2 circular wooden panels
  • red or green spray paint
  • drill
  • large empty tin can
  • hammer & nail
  • wire
  • thread or fishing line
  • white felt
  • white pom poms

Here's How:

1.1 Glue 1 round wooden panel that's slightly smaller than the size of the tire onto the tire using a hot glue gun. Spray paint the tire with the wooden panel attached, as well as the second wooden panel either red or green.

1.2 Use a hammer & nail to punch 2 pairs of holes in opposite sides of the bottom of an empty tin can. Insert the wire through 1 hole on each side of the tin can and secure it. Thread a piece of fishing line or thread through both holes on each side of the tin can.

1.3 Drill 2 holes in the tire, then guide the piece of string or fishing line attached to the tin can through the holes and tie the can to the tire through the opening at the back.

1.4 Use a hot glue gun to glue the second wooden panel to the open side of the tire. Cut a piece of white felt into the shape of a large snowflake and glue it onto one of the wooden panels. Glue some white pom poms around the outer edge of the same wooden panel. Now you have some gorgeous, unique Christmas decorations for your front yard!

2. Glowing Snowballs

You'll Need:

  • chicken wire
  • pliers
  • fairy lights

Here's How:

2.1 Use pliers to bend the chicken wire into the shape of a ball, then wrap a string of Christmas lights around it. The larger the sphere, the more Christmas lights you'll need. Now you can make a beautiful display of light-up snowballs for your lawn!

3. Wooden Santa Decoration

You'll Need:

  • 1 thick branch
  • saw
  • red, white & black paint
  • hot glue gun
  • 3 small wooden balls
  • ribbon

Here's How:

3.1 Saw the branch into 3 pieces of various lengths, making sure the bottom cut is flat and the top is made on a diagonal. Sand the cut edges until they become smooth, then paint the slanted ends so that they look like 3 little Santa Claus faces. Use a hot glue gun to glue 1 wooden ball onto each Santa Claus to make a nose. Tie your 3 wooden Santas together with a festive ribbon and place them by your front door so that all of your visitors will get a warm, Christmassy welcome!

4. XXL Candy Cane Lollipops

You'll Need:

  • swim noodles
  • colored duct tape
  • spray adhesive
  • plastic poles
  • cellophane wrap
  • ribbon

Here's How:

4.1 Wrap some colored duct tape around the swim noodles in a spiral so that they look like candy canes. Spray the swim noodles with spray adhesive.

4.2 Roll the pool noodles up into a tight spiral and apply some duct tape to 1 side to keep them in place if necessary. Tape 1 end of a plastic pole to the back of the rolled up swim noodle, then wrap your giant candy cane lollipops in cellophane wrap.
