5 Spooktacular Rice Krispies Treats For Halloween

October is finally upon us, and the moment we said goodbye to September, everyone had only one thing on their mind: Halloween. There's so many fun things to do to celebrate the spooky season in style. From carving jack-o-lanterns and visiting pumpkin patches to consuming every pumpkin spice product out there, how you choose to honor the single most fun holiday of the year is completely up to you. But we know how we'll be celebrating: with Halloween-themed rice krispies treats that look scarily good!

Here's How:

1.1 Melt the marshmallows in the microwave, dye them with green food coloring, and mix in the Rice Krispies cereal.

1.2 Oil your hands generously and evenly spread the Rice Krispies mass on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut the mass into 6 equal rectangles.

1.3 Dip the rectangles in melted chocolate on one side and place 2 googly eyes underneath the chocolate.

4. Pumpkins

You'll Need:

  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • Rice Krispies cereal

Extra:

  • vegetable oil
  • orange food coloring
  • green sour belts
  • mini peanut butter cups
  • black icing

Here's How:

4.1 Melt the marshmallows in the microwave and dye the mixture with orange food coloring. Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal and form small pumpkins from the mass.

  • Rice Krispies cereal

Extra:

  • vegetable oil

Grease your hands with vegetable oil and form a few balls from each bowl, pressing them down a little. To finish off your spooky treats, place a large googly eye in the center of each ball.

These are some spooktacular treats, but feel free to get creative and make your own spooky surprises. Maybe a vampire? Or a werewolf? Throw on a scary movie and get inspired!
