6 Tips & Tricks To Organize Your Kitchen

Keeping the kitchen, especially a tiny kitchen, organized can be one of the most challenging household issues. But it's actually quite easy to keep the most frequently used room in the house tidy with these 6 handy tips & tricks!

1. Store Cutting Boards

You'll Need:

  • 2 adhesive hooks
  • 1 narrow magazine rack

To free up some space, clear away clutter, and keep track of your kitchen boards, hang two adhesive hooks to the inside of the cabinet door, attach a magazine rack to it, and store your boards, as well as any other kitchen tools inside.

2. Collect Food Scraps

You'll Need:

  • 2 adhesive hooks
  • 1 reusable box

Isn't it annoying when you're chopping fruits & veggies, and you have to constantly gather up the scraps in your hands and make multiple trips back and forth to the garbage can? To save you time, space, and the need to constantly clean, attach two adhesive hooks to a reusable box, and hang it from the top of the cabinet door beneath your usual work space. Scrape the scraps into the box after each session, and once it's full, empty it out and start again.

3. Organize Pots & Pans

You'll Need:

  • 1 pan rack

Stacking pans in the cupboard is a terrible idea – you can never find the right one, and when you manage to pull one out, the others all go tumbling. The solution to this frustrating endeavor is a pan rack. This way, you can neatly stack several pans in the cabinet and avoid clutter – and best of all, you'll easily be able to see which one you need and you'll be able to slide it out without any problems.

4. Organize Pot Lids

You'll Need:

  • 4 adhesive hooks
  • 2 adjustable curtain rods

Pot lids are the same situation as pans – the ensuing chaos is inevitable. However, if you attach four adhesive hooks to the inside of a cabinet door and connect them with adjustable curtain rods, you'll never have to clean up a lid avalanche again.

5. Organize Rolls Of Aluminum Foil, Plastic Wrap, Parchment Paper, Etc.

You'll Need:

  • 2 adhesive hooks
  • 1 magazine rack file

These standard boxes can be found in every kitchen, and you know what else can be found in every kitchen? These boxes all over the place because it's seemingly impossible to store them in an orderly fashion. But that was then and this is now, and the solution is simple. Hang two adhesive hooks to the inside of the cabinet door and attach an upright magazine rack file to hold all the baking and cooking essentials. Not only will this keep the boxes organized, it also means you've gained an extra drawer for storage.

6. Write Out Your Shopping List

You'll Need:

  • self adhesive blackboard
  • chalk

If you have a hard time keeping track of your grocery list, attach a sticky chalkboard paper roll to the inside of your cabinet door. Not only will this help remind you what you need to pick up at the supermarket, but it's also a lot of fun!

Would you have ever guessed that you can bring so much order to your kitchen with just a few adhesive hooks, a few containers, and some sticky rolls? Have fun in your soon-to-be tidy kitchen!
