Quick and easy: How to make a mini flower vase in 30 seconds
Every home should have a variety of vases for displaying flowers as there's nothing worse than being unprepared for that moment when a dinner guest arrives with a lovely bouquet. But you don't need to wait for such a moment or even such an ostentatious arrangement of flowers to bring a little cheer into the house. Sometimes a few daisies from the garden will do the trick nicely — after all, they don't say "less is more" for nothing!
You'll need:
- small glasses such as shot glasses or juice glasses
- balloons
- scissors
Here's how:
First make sure you have everything you need: a small glass, a balloon and a pair of scissors. The left side of this pic shows what the finished product should look like.
The first step is to cut off the ring at the opening of the balloon.
Now roll the balloon down from the opening as far as possible.
The next step is to put the balloon on the glass. To do this, pull the balloon over the bottom of the glass and roll it up the outside.
Now pull the balloon over the rim of the glass. Make sure not to damage the balloon with your fingernails.
To finish it off, all you have to do is poke the opening into shape and position it where you want it — centered, slightly off-center — the choice is yours!
And there you have it! A custom-made mini vase!
