Quickly and easily remove ink stains with milk

Everyone knows this one: you put a pen in your bag, the cap comes off and the next thing you know, everything is covered in ink. Or maybe junior decided to get creative and turn your favorite T-shirt into a canvas. No matter how it happens, ink stains are nothing to worry about. There's actually a really good trick for removing them and all you need is something you probably already have in your fridge.

Here's the situation: an unmistakable stain on a cotton cloth. Looks like junior was at it again!

But no need to worry. The fastest, most effective remedy for this typical household problem is milk! Simply pour some in a bowl.

Now dunk the stained part of the cloth in the milk and let it soak for at least 20 minutes (even longer for heavy stains).

Now take an old but clean toothbrush and scrub the stained area. You'll soon see that the stain is visibly fading.

The final step is to rinse the milk out thoroughly with water. That's it!

If there is still some ink left, a short cycle in the washing machine is sure to get rid of it. The important thing is to treat the stain as quickly as possible while the ink is still fresh. If you act fast, that stain won't stand a chance!
