How to make your ovenware look like new again

It's every cook's worst nightmare — not only is the food burned, but it's baked right onto the oven tray! This type of nasty, caked on grease and food is almost impossible to remove and can easily ruin your ovenware. Scrubbing can help, but usually leaves the tray or pan badly scratched and rarely brings back the shine. But you'll be glad to know that there is another way.

All you need is an anti-static dryer sheet. Lay the sheet in the tray and pour in some warm water so that all of the dirty parts and the dryer sheet are soaking.

Now pour in some regular dishwashing liquid. Don't be afraid to use quite a bit.

Use the dryer sheet to spread the dishwashing liquid throughout the oven tray. You do not need to wipe or scrub while doing this. Now let everything soak for about one hour.

Pour out the water, remove the dryer sheet and you're nearly done! Now you can take a scrub sponge and wipe away all of the caked on food and grease with ease. The dryer sheet has already done most of the work.
