Short Or Long? Here's How You Should Be Styling Your Hair
Short haircuts have been en vogue in Hollywood for quite some time now, with many celebrities ditching their long flowing manes for the new look. Yet it's hard to tell if a shorter hairstyle would look as good on you as it does on the stars. But if you've been toying with the idea of trying out a new do, we have some good news. This simple test will either give you the green light for a shorter style or suggest you should leave it as it is.
According to Elle, this test was developed by expert hair stylist John Frieda. It's simple: the length of your jaw bone determines whether short hair will look attractive or not. To take the test, simply hold a pencil under your chin and measure the distance between your ear and the pencil. If it's smaller than 2¼ inches, you can go straight to the hairdresser. If it's longer than that though, you may want to give it another thought.
