Make Your Own Special Paste For Toothache Relief

It’s an absolute nightmare. If your tooth or root is damaged, you can often expect horrendous pain. And as if that isn’t bad enough, the agony is usually accompanied by more misfortune: either it’s the weekend and something exciting is planned, or the waiting time for dental treatment is unbearably long.

The reasons for sudden toothaches are manifold. Possible cause are:

  • cavities
  • broken teeth
  • missing teeth
  • plaque
  • gingivitis
  • obstructive sleep apnea
  • temporomandibular joint disorders

If you have a toothache, there’s no need to feel helpless. In emergency cases, there is a way to temporarily relieve your pain right at home. And while the following measure should in no way replace a visit to the dentist, it will certainly help to make the pain more bearable until professional help is available.

You'll Need:

  • ½ tsp clove powder
  • ½ tsp coconut oil

Here's How:

Clove powder contains eugenol, which effectively relieves pain. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, and therefore acts as an anti-inflammatory.

Mix the two ingredients in a bowl until they form a paste. Using a pipette or small brush, apply the paste to the painful area. For the best results, repeat the process three times a day.

If you are experiencing tooth pain and cannot get to the dentist immediately, you should know that this treatment has helped many people. And because this remedy is completely natural, there is nothing to lose! If worse comes to worst, it never hurts to have these ingredients at hand.
