9 Nifty Clothing Tricks & Tips Every Woman Needs To Know

As the theory goes: men are from Mars, women are from Venus. Certain comedians have even achieved a certain amount of success making jokes about differences between the two sexes.

Whether you believe that or not, there are a number of notable discrepancies when it comes to clothing. So to avoid any common pitfalls, we've put together a comprehensive list of tips for women's clothing. Did you know any of these before?

1. Hiding Bra Straps

To prevent bra straps from standing out from your sleeveless top, attach them to one another using a paperclip.

2. Button Up!

Do your favorite jeans from last summer no longer quite fit? No problem — you can still do them up properly by putting an elastic band around the button and guiding it through the buttonhole.

3. Repairing Your Bra

If the wire has managed to bore its way through the material, you can push it back into place and repair the damaged area using a Band-Aid. Once fixed in place, the wire should no longer cause you concern.

4. Attaching A Bracelet

Bend the paperclip as shown below and feed it through the small ring at the end of the bracelet. Hold onto the paperclip tightly with your fingers while you place the bracelet around your wrist and lock it into place.

5. Expand Your Shoes

If your shoes are feeling a little tight, you can simply expand them using the following method. First, fill two resealable freezer bags halfway with water and place them in each shoe.

Next, place the shoes in a larger freezer bag and keep them in the freezer until the water in both bags has frozen. Afterwards, remove your shoes from the freezer and take out the bags.

6. Zipping Up Dresses

If there's no help at hand to zip up your dress, simply attach a (sufficiently sturdy) necklace to the zipper and pull it up.

7. Hiding A Tight Blouse

If your blouse is stretching at the buttons, you can hide this effect by attaching double-sided tape between the buttons.

8. Removing Lint

If your clothes are plagued by irritating fuzz, you can remove it using a razor. It's that simple!

9. Removing Deodorant Marks

If you discover some unsightly deodorant marks on your T-shirt, simply magic them away with baby wipes.

As it happens, the differences between men and women aren't actually that big even when we're talking about clothing. As you can see, a number of these useful hacks can be used on men's clothes too.
