After all, flowers are a great way to make any home more colorful. But there are plenty of other, more exciting ways to bring the beauty of flowers into your home! Whether displayed in a glass frame, adorably arranged in homemade eggshell vases, or featured in some DIY wall art, adding flowers to your home is always a great idea, and these 3 DIY flower decorations will open up new possibilities for making your home blossom and bloom!

1. Dainty Egg Vase

You'll Need:

  • hot glue gun
  • eggs
  • straw or Easter grass
  • water
  • flowers

Here's How:

1.1 For a gorgeous springtime or Easter decoration, start by cracking the tops off of several eggs. Pour out the raw egg, then carefully wash out the eggshells. Use a hot glue gun to glue the eggs together in a row. Fill each eggshell with a bit of water and place fresh flowers inside. Complete the scene by arranging the eggs on some straw or Easter grass. Whatever the occasion, these little egg vases are eggs-actly what you need!

2. Fabulous Framed Flowers

You'll Need:

  • 2 equally sized picture frames
  • dried flowers

Here's How:

2.1 Sometimes less is more, which can definitely be said about this framed flower project! Remove the back panel from 2 equally sized picture frames. Take the glass out of both frames, press the dried flowers in between the 2 panes, and secure the glass panes inside 1 of the picture frames. It sounds so simple, and it is, but this project's elegant effect is incredible!

3. Twinkling Flower Shower Wall Art

You'll Need:

  • cork board
  • masking tape
  • wood stain
  • black & white acrylic paint
  • shower head + hose
  • zip ties
  • fairy lights
  • artificial flower garland
  • hot glue gun

Here's How:

3.1 This flower shower decoration is a little unconventional, but it will certainly light up any room! Get started by taping off the cork board with masking tape and painting the frame with wood stain. Remove the masking tape once the wood stain has dried.

3.2 Paint the cork board black with acrylic paint, add some wispy white accents, and let the paint dry.

3.3 Drill a hole through the shower head. Arrange the entire shower head and hose on top of the cork board, then mark the spots on either side of it where you'd like it to be attached. Drill holes where you made the marks on the cork board. Unscrew the shower head and remove the nozzle. Thread the fairy lights through both the back of the cork board and the hole you drilled in the shower head, then secure everything in place with zip ties.

3.4 Use a hot glue gun to glue the artificial flower garland to the cork board or to the hose of the shower head, then arrange the fairy lights so that they look like flowing water. If this isn't an extraordinary flower arrangement, then we don't know what is!
