6 Easy Magic Tricks That Will Impress Everybody

Everyone knows a magic trick or two, but if you want to be a little less basic and finally be the magician you were born to be, check out these easy magic tricks that will impress everybody! A few flicks of the wrist and deft hand movements are often enough to leave children of all ages gasping in awe. These magic tricks are the epitome of low effort, high impact, and they're sure to earn you huge smiles from friends and loved ones!

1. Coin Trick

You'll Need:

• 1 coin

Here's How:

1.1 Put the coin on the back of your left hand.

1.2 Now place your right thumb on the coin and use your index finger to push it toward the palm of your left hand.

1.3 If you repeat this motion very quickly, the coin will magically appear in the palm of your hand!

2. Instant Ice

You'll Need:

• cup
• glass
• sponge
• box cutter
• water
• ice cubes

Here's How:

2.1 Cut a small sponge to the dimensions of the bottom of a cup and place the sponge in the cup.

2.2 Place a few ice cubes on top of the sponge in the cup.

2.3 Now add water to the cup and wait until the sponge has absorbed all the water.

2.4 If you empty the cup now, it'll look like the water has turned into ice cubes in no time at all. Impressive!

3. Disappearing Crayons

You'll Need:

• 1 pack of crayons
• 1 piece of cardboard or wood
• hot glue

Here's How:

3.1 Cut the crayons in half, making sure they're all the same size.

3.2 Now glue the crayon halves in 2 rows onto a piece of cardboard or wood. It should be about the same size as the crayon packaging.

3.3 Place the crayons on the piece of cardboard in the crayon packaging and use your hand to put a little bit of pressure on the sides of the packaging so the piece of cardboard with the crayons doesn't slide directly to the bottom. As soon as you let go of some of the pressure, the crayons are going to fall to the bottom and it'll look like you've made them magically disappear.

4. Match Trick

You'll Need:

• match
• tape

Here's How:

4.1 Tape the bottom part of a match to the end of your thumbnail. Now if you bend your thumb, the match is going to show, but if you straighten it again, the match is going to disappear. You just need to make these movements fast enough to make it look like straight up magic!

5. Playing Card Money Trick

You'll Need:

• 1 bill
• 2 playing cards
• scissors

Here's How:

5.1 Cut one of the playing cards in half. Now glue one half of the card to the other playing card. Attach the tape to the top so you can still angle the half card.

5.2 Fold the bill in the middle.

5.3 Put the folded bill on the edge of the half card and it'll look like the card is stuck in the bill!

6. Floating LEGO Brick

You'll Need:

• LEGO brick
• torn pantyhose
• double-sided tape

Here's How:

6.1 Pull a thread from the torn pantyhose. Now put a small piece of double-sided tape to the bottom of the LEGO brick.

6.2 Stick the nylon thread to the tape.

6.3 Tape one end of the long nylon thread to a table and the other end to another piece of furniture that's close by, like a lamp. The LEGO now looks like it's floating in the air.
