Do you live for nature and would love nothing more than to have a piece of it right at home? No problem, because we've got 3 epic DIY projects featuring birch logs and branches for you! Find out how to make a cute shelf from a few birch logs, a tree branch lamp that will make you say: "I love lamp!", and a tree branch coat rack. These pieces aren't just super nice to look at, they're also a great conversation starter because everyone's going to be dying to know where you got your new wood-centric furniture from!

1. Birch Log Shelf

You'll Need:

  • several birch logs
  • 5 shelves
  • screws
  • drill
  • glue

Here's How:

1.1 First grab yourself 4 equally long pieces of a birch trunk – they're going to be the shelf legs. Saw the 4 stumps to size and screw them to the bottom of the lowest shelf.

1.2 Now you need several more logs of the same length for the different shelf levels. Screw them to the shelves just as you did with the legs and then put the whole shelf together.

1.3 If you feel like it, you can glue a few more birch pieces to the shelves so it looks like there's a tree growing through them. And there you have it – the coolest shelf of all time!

2. Tree Branch Lamp

You'll Need:

  • several branches, same length and medium thickness
  • hot glue
  • lamp
  • cord

Here's How:

Simply glue the branches upright to the lamp and tie a piece of cord around them. Place the lampshade on the frame and your tree branch lamp is ready to go.

3. Tree Branch Coat Rack

You'll Need:

  • several branches
  • spray paint
  • board
  • screws
  • drill

Here's How:

Spray paint the branches in the color of your choice and attach each one to the board with 2 screws.
